CHENNAI: The stage is set for a three-way fight for the J.K. Tyre junior racing cup. The final two rounds, scheduled for this weekend at the Madras Motor Racing Track (MMRT) at Sriperumbudur, promise rich action.

Over 15 Formula Maruti cars will form the grid. The fifth round will be held on June 2, and the sixth and final round on June 3.

Organised jointly by Madras Motor Sports Club and J.K. Tyre, the first four rounds witnessed a close tussle. Round one was dominated by Narain Shankar of Team Rams Racing, while round two saw Karthik Shankar from Team Wallace Sports stealing the thunder.

The Round three honours went to the Team Rams Racing duo of Narain Shankar and Sudarshan Rao, while round four had Karthik dominating again.
