Abandoned iron box creates stir
An iron box that was left abandoned near platform no. 1 at the Mahatma Gandhi Bus Station on Wednesday sent police officials into a tizzy. After receiving message from a commuter, the bomb disposal squad rushed to the spot and examined the box only to find bus tickets in it.
Woman ends life in lodge
A 38-year-old woman committed suicide by consuming poison in a lodge at Afzalgunj on Wednesday. Anitha Agarwal, a resident of Jubilee Hills, ended her life following a family dispute, the police said.
Mason falls from building, dies
A mason died after falling from the fifth floor of a building under construction at Srinagar Colony on Wednesday. The police said Srinivas Reddy (28) fell from the building while he was attending to some repair work.
