Rasheed in custody of Delhi police

HYDERABAD: The Delhi police on Wednesday took Rasheed, the alleged prime accused in the human smuggling case, into their custody.

The team that came to the State capital three days ago filed a petition at a local court in Nampally seeking Rasheed's custody.

Forty-two-year-old Mazharuddin Ali alias Rasheed, a travel agent and resident of Malakpet, was wanted by the Delhi police in the case after arrested BJP MP Babubhai Katara disclosed that Rasheed had arranged visas and air tickets for him to take people abroad with fake identity.
