Anti-drug run today

KOCHI: Actors Prithviraj, Kavya Madhavan, Krishna, cricketer Sreesanth, businessman Kochuouseph and novelist C. Radhakrishnan are among the participants of an anti-drug campaign called Navodayam by the Kochi city police on Thursday.

The campaign will be inaugurated in a run from INS Dronacharya in Fort Kochi to Veli ground at 9.30 a.m. It is a multi-pronged drive to weed out the problem of drugs, said a statement by City Police Commisioner Manoj Abhraham. The programme sought assistance from various Government departments, residents associations, NGOs and voluntary organisations.
