KARIMNAGAR: Civil Supplies Commissioner G.N. Rao on Thursday said the Government agencies had procured 94 lakh tonnes of paddy from farmers by providing minimum support price in the current rabi season. The Commissioner inspected paddy procurement at the Karimnagar agricultural market committee. He said 40 lakh metric tonnes of levy rice was procured against a target of 62 lakh tonnes set by the Centre.
