Left to continue struggle

Staff Reporter

KADAPA: Leaders of opposition parties on Thursday vowed to continue the land occupation struggle until the Government allotted house sites to poorer sections in Kadapa district.

TDP Polit Bureau Member K. Sivananda Reddy accused the Government of duping poor with promises to allot house sites and was, instead, taking back sites allotted during the TDP rule. Revenue and police officials were assisting Congress leaders in land-grabbing, he alleged at a hunger strike camp.

He asked the Government to allot house sites to the poor within a week.
