Power shutdown on Saturday

CHENNAI : Power supply will be suspended in parts of Alandur, GST Road, Adambakkam, Maduvandarai, Ullagaram and Puzhuthivakkam and I and II Cross Street, Jayammal Street and Pulla Avenue in Aminjikarai between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. on Saturday for maintenance work.

Orientation workshop

The Association of Mathematics Teachers of India has announced its third Sunday Olympiad orientation workshops this year from July 1. Telegraph offices converted

BSNL Chennai Telephones has converted its Central Telegraph Office and Departmental Telegraph Offices into Telecom Customer Service Centres. The Centres will provide sales of recharge coupons and top-up cards of the BSNL Excel Pre-paid service. The details of CTO/DTO are: CTO at Parrys and DTOs at Anna Nagar, Ethiraj Salai, High Court, Koyambedu Market, Mylapore, Tambaram, Vadapalani, Central Station, Chengalpet, Avadi, Guindy, ICF, Mambalam, Periyar Nagar, Tiruvottiyur, Anna Road and Egmore Station, an official press release said.

Medical camp

The Pammal Sankara Eye Hospital will organise a free eye cataract surgery camp on Sunday at Grace Matriculation School, Peravallur, from 9 a.m.

Eye and dental camp

The St. John Ambulance will conduct an eye and dental camp, in collaboration with Dr. T.S. Doraiswamy Eye Hospital and Ragaas Dental College sponsored by the Kappa Charitable Trust, on June 10 between 9 a.m. and noon at the Advent Christian School, 42, Velachery Main Road, Guindy.
