Band to play in parks

CHENNAI: The Chennai Corporation's band will play instrumental music in various parks in the city in June from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on all days except Tuesdays. The parks to be inlcuded are Anna Park on Cemetery Road, My Ladye's Park, Mahatma Gandhi Park on Madhavaram High Road, Jeeva Park, Visweswaraya Tower Park, May Day Park, Marina Beach, Independence Day Park, Panagal Park, Gandhi Mandapam Park, Elliot's Beach and Thiruvallur Nagar Park, according to a press release.
