Collector warns of action

Staff Reporter

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: District Collector N. Ayyappan has said that stringent action will be initiated against autorickshaw drivers who cram children into autorickshaws to take them to school.

He was speaking at a meeting of the traffic advisory council in the city on Wednesday. Mr. Ayyappan also issued directions to the officials concerned to remove hoardings on roads that posed a hurdle to the flow of traffic. The arches erected at various places despite a ban will also be removed.
