Telemedicine network to expand soon

CHENNAI : Telemedicine facilitator Space Hospitals recently executed a pilot project for Oil and Natural Gas Corporation to offer medical solutions through a link-up with major hospitals.

Under the project, an off-shore oil rig was linked to the Lilavati Hospital in Mumbai, A. Venkataramani, founder-chairman of Space Hospitals, said here on Thursday.

Space Hospitals is planning to expand its networking with major hospitals across the country.

Discussions were on with several hospitals, including Sri Ramachandra Institute for Medical Sciences, Chennai.
