TIRUMALA: Devotees on Friday urged the TTD management to initiate steps to put an end to VIP recommendation letters for darshan at Tirumala hills. Participating in the dial TTD E.O. programme, a devotee , native of Hyderabad said that the system which was once a privilege, has in course of time turned into a curse with the common man (devotee) being subjected to lot of inconvenience. TTD Executive Officer K.V.Ramanachary said that the management has taken a serious view of the growing menace and as a first step has abandoned honouring all kinds of recommendation letters on all the three weekends.
