Prince Bajaj wins two rapid titles

NEW DELHI: World under-8 silver medallist, Prince Bajaj, lived up to the expectations by winning the Delhi State under-14 and 12 rapid chess titles at the Amity International School, Saket, here.

Prince, the third seed, headed a three-way tie in the u-14 section on a superior tie-breaker score. Vaibhav Suri and Ram Gupta took the next two spots.

Earlier, in the u-12 section, too, Prince enjoyed better progressive score than Suri.

In the girls' u-14, Arunima Kalra and R. Mathura Priya were declared joint-winners after a round-robin competition.
