NEW DELHI: Virender Sehwag top-scored with 68 in an opening stand of 110 with Gagan Khoda as Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) defeated Collage Sports Group by 67 runs and made it to the final of the 34th all-India Goswami Ganesh Dutt memorial cricket tournament here on Friday. Sehwag (68, 54b, 1x6, 9x4) and Khoda (49, 46b, 3x6, 6x4) gave a rousing start to the defending champion ONGC before Gautam Gambhir (67, 62b, 3x6, 2x4) added to the misery of Collage Group. ONGC scored 306 for seven in 40 overs. In reply, Collage lost wickets at regular intervals.
The scores: ONGC 306 for seven in 40 overs (G. Khoda 49, V. Sehwag 68, G. Gambhir 67, V. Arya four for 54) bt Collage Sports Group 239 in 35.3 overs (Vijay Arya 44).
