THRISSUR: A top police official on Friday held discussions with K. V. Abdul Khader, MLA, and a few local leaders in connection with a case relating to the alleged clash between CPI(M) workers and a police constable at Guruvayur on Wednesday. The police had registered a case against Democratic Youth Federation of India (DYFI) State committee member and CPI(M) local secretary C. Sumesh for obstructing the duty of a police officer. Kunnamkulam Deputy Superintendent of Police are investigating the case.
