THRISSUR: The district administration on Friday recovered 35 cents of land at Elavally. District Collector M. Beena said that 14 encroachers at Kozhithodu in Brahmakulam village were evicted. Steps were taken to recover four cents illegally occupied by Dhanya Resorts in Vadanappilly and 13 cents by others nearby. Notices would be issued to them on Saturday, the district administration said. The encroachments were inspected by Deputy Collector C. V. Valsa, Assistant Engineers M. D. Varghese, A. H. Vakkachan, Deputy Tahsildar K. K. Balakrishnan and Taluk Deputy Tahsildar V. J. Joy. The district administration served notices on 15 encroachers in Ollur-Marathakkara, four in Christopher Nagar, 10 in Kanjani-Chettuva. Officials surveyed Ramanaliyam in Thrissur town, Pullur Junction in Irinjalakuda, Mala and Chalakudy.
