APSRTC launches Couple Gift Card

NIZAMABAD: The Andhra Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation, Nizamabad region has introduced the Couple Gift Card (travel ticket) costing Rs.1000. The Deputy-Inspector General of Police Anjanikumar formally released the card and handed over it to a customer at a function held here on Friday.

Giving details of the card the transport corporation Regional Manager A. Venkateswar Rao, said this card would enable a couple to travel anywhere in the State for a period of four days in non-air conditioned services-super luxury, deluxe, express, ordinary, sub-urban, grameena and city services.

The price of the card is Rs.1000 and the couple may also be allowed to carry infants/children below five years of age free of cost. The card is meant for gifting the couple on the eve of marriages, anniversaries, retirements and other festive occasions by their friends, well-wishers and relatives.

Maximum validity of the card is six months. The cards would be made available at all RTC offices, the RM added.
