Applications for loans

CHENNAI : Application are invited from individuals and groups by the Department of Industries and Commerce to provide loans under the Prime Minister's Self Employment Scheme.

It has been planned to extend loan facilities to 28,700 persons in Tamil Nadu for 2007-08, a press release said.

Loan facilities are available to start manufacturing units, social service organisations, group enterprises and SHG ventures. Details can be had from District Industrial Centres.
