Second edition of HIFF from Jan. 3
The second edition of the Hyderabad International Film Festival would be held from January 3 to 10, 2008, the Hyderabad Film Club and Andhra Pradesh Film Directors' Association informed in a statement issued here on Friday.
Lok Adalat to hear power complaints
To hear and settle the cases of Central Power Distribution Company of A.P. Ltd consumers, the next sitting of Lok Adalat for Transco will be held at Mint Compound on June 2 at 11 a.m., according to a press release issued here on Friday.
Workshop on Ed. CET-2007
Ed. CET-2007 Convenor K.V. Suryanarayana Raju felt that there was no need for students to get disheartened by lack of employment opportunities in Government schools. He was speaking at a `Workshop on Ed. CET' organised by Iqra Society on Friday. "Huge employment opportunities are cropping up today for teachers in international schools, corporate schools and schools sponsored by industrial giant likes WIPRO, Satyam, Dr. Reddy's foundation," Mr. Raju informed. About 1.35 lakh candidates would be appearing for Ed-CET-2007, which would be held on June 10 in the State.
