THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Rajasthan and Kerala won the boys' and girls' titles respectively in the National Youth basketball championship held in Luknow recently. Rajasthan defeated Uttar Pradesh 94-84 to win the title, while Kerala girls beat Chhattisgarh 70-36 to win the final. The results: Boys (final): Rajasthan 94 (Karan 31, Hirender 28, Govind 20) bt Uttar Pradesh 84 (Geetham 24, Vishesh 18, Arjun 17, Vijay 15). Losers' final: Chhattisgarh 78 (Pretham 45, Ankit 15) bt Delhi 61 (Sunil Kumar 28, Sukhjeet 19). Girls (final): Kerala 70 (Ashy Mathew 24, Shija Joseph 18, Smruthy 15) bt Chhattisgarh 36 (Kruthika 14). Losers' final: Uttar Pradesh 66 (Renu 34, Ranjana 18) bt Tamil Nadu 57 (Anitha 19, Seetha 12).
