Chinese official dies

BEIJING: Huang Ju member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee and Vice-Premier of the State Council, died of illness on Saturday in Beijing. He was 69. An obituary issued by the central authorities called Mr. Huang ``an excellent member of the CPC, a faithful Communist fighter and an outstanding leader". — Xinhua
