Kerala University declares B.Com. results

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The University of Kerala has declared the results of the final year B.Com. examinations held in March-April this year.

The first rank goes to S. Jain Rani of the S.N. College for Women, Kollam. She scored 1235 marks out of 1500. The second rank went to Lakshmi S. Kumar of Mar Ivanios College, Thiruvananthapuram. She scored 1226 marks. Jijo George of NSS College, Pandalam, with 1221 marks came third.

Of the 12,920 candidates who took the examinations, 593 secured first class, 961 got second-class and 1429 students got third class. The pass percentage was 23.08.

In 2006, 554 candidates secured first class, 1007, second-class and 1743 candidates got third class. The results are posted on the university web site www.keralauniversity.edu, a press note issued here said.
