VISAKHAPATNAM: The annual summer coaching camps conducted by the Visakhapatnam Port Trust for children of its employees, CISF personnel and others came to an end on Saturday. About 350 children attended the four-week camps held in athletics, badminton, basketball, cricket, handball, hockey, kabaddi, table tennis, tennis and weightlifting events at the Port sports complex, the Salagrampuram play ground and Harbour park. Twenty-four coaches conducted the camps. The valedictory function of the camps was held at the Port Indoor Stadium with FA and CAO of VPT K.V. Gupta as chief guest. Manager (operations) and working president of Port Sports Council M. Ragiya, secretary of VPT and also of the Major Ports Sports Control Board D.Naresh Kumar, sports officers M.V. Manikyalu and Ch. Benarji Babu spoke.
