NCC turnover up b 57 p.c.

HYDERABAD:
Nagarjuna Construction Company Ltd (NCC) clocked a turnover of Rs. 2,900.23 crore in 2006-07, posting a growth of 57 per cent, more than the previous financial year's Rs. 1,842.47 crore.
The net profit was Rs. 151.91 crore, a 46 per cent increase over the last year's Rs. 103.90 crore, according to a press release.
The company's order book position as on March 31 was Rs. 7,303 crore. The board of directors of the company recommended a final equity dividend of 20 per cent (post bonus issue).
Earlier, the company declared a 40 per cent interim dividend on March 21. Thus, the total equity dividend worked out to 60 per cent. The company projected a target of Rs. 4,000 crore for FY 2007-08.
