Two BBMP officials suspended

BANGALORE: The BBMP has placed under suspension two officials who were absent though they had been assigned the work in the master control room in BBMP's head office on Saturday.

The BBMP sources said the officials were V. Jayaramaiah, Assistant Executive Engineer with the Traffic Engineering Cell, and Eeranna, Assistant Revenue Officer, Banaswadi. They were absent when the Joint Commissioner (Works) Harsha Gupta visited the control room. Mr. Gupta paid surprise visits to this and eight zonal control rooms.
