MANGALORE: Burglars struck at the house of B.V. Nagaraj at Vyasanagar in Mangalore East (Kadri) police station limits and took away gold ornaments and silver articles. According to a complaint lodged by Mr. Nagaraj, the burglars decamped with 26 gm of gold jewellery, including a chain and a ring, three silver plates, four silver cups and small silver articles kept in a cupboard. The incident occurred between April 25 and June 2, when the house was locked, the police said. The exact value of items stolen has not yet been estimated. The police have registered a case and are investigating.
