HYDERABAD: Andhra Pradesh Higher Education Minister D. Srinivas has expressed helplessness in preventing corporate colleges from collecting huge sums as fee from the students. Speaking at a press conference here on Monday, the Minister said that Government would not be able to intervene beyond laying down the tuition fee. However, it could take action if there were written complaints against colleges collecting tuition fee beyond the prescribed limit, he added . The Government could do precious little in respect of other types of fee towards hostel and other facilities which the parents were willingly paying to the corporate colleges.
