RCom launches FM Phones

MUMBAI:
Reliance Communications has forayed into the FM Radio phone segment with the launch of two new `Classic' colour phones — the Classic 261 and the Classic 761 — priced at Rs. 1,888 and Rs. 1,919, respectively.
The Classic range, launched last month, had met with success in the Indian handset industry, S. P. Shukla, President, Personal Business, RCL, said while addressing the media here on Monday.
"Our Classic range of phones has been extremely well received by customers and the launch of Classic Colour FM radio phones is a reflection of our market insights. With FM channels now available in all major cities, our FM radio phones will provide not only just mobile connectivity but also portable entertainment at very affordable prices.''
