Rare distinction for DPS Srinagar

SRINAGAR: Delhi Public School Srinagar has earned the distinction of achieving 100 per cent success in examinations for the first batch of its Class X conducted by the CBSE. The DPS, which opened its first branch in the Kashmir Valley four years ago, has bagged 42 positions and become the first private school in Kashmir to make such a mark in CBSE. It is the Valley's only private school where the examinations are being conducted by CBSE.

Amandeep Singh has secured first position with 92.2 per cent marks followed by Mudasir Dar, Hanan Tariq Qureshi and Sarah Jameel.
