Quattrocchi's extradition: status report filed

New Delhi: The CBI on Monday informed a city court that the extradition proceedings against Italian businessman Ottavio Quattrocchi, an accused in the Bofors kickback case, would start on June 7 in an Argentinian court.

Hearing on June 7

Filing a status report in the court of Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Seema Maini, the CBI informed that the Argentinian court had fixed June 7 to start the hearing on India's request to extradite the Italian businessman.

The court asked the agency to file its next status report in the matter on July 28. — PTI
