Man killed in accident

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: A 63-year-old man was killed on Monday evening after the scooter on which he was travelling collided with a KSRTC bus at Pulichamala near Vithura. The deceased has been identified as Yousuf, a small-scale tea vendor and resident of Kaniyapuram.

Arms Act: one held

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Peroorkada police have arrested Anilkumar, 38, a resident of Maruthankuzhi, under the Arms Act on Monday after he was found guilty of possessing a sword in his vehicle.

Two injured in clash

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Cantonment police have registered cases against the activists of Students Federation of India and the Campus Front following a clash between its members at University College on Monday . Two persons were injured in the incident.
