Vaibhav, Arunima triumph

NEW DELHI: Vaibhav Suri of Raghubir Junior Modern School won the Delhi under-13 chess title at the Amity International School, Saket, here on Tuesday.

Suri and Prince Bajaj were tied at six points after seven rounds but the former was adjudged the winner on superior tie-break score.

In the girls' section, the spin of the coin favoured Arunima Kalra, who was declared the champion after she tied with Upasana Mahajan for the title following identical tiebreak scores.
