Four IAS, PCS officers transferred in UP

Lucknow: Four IAS and PCS officers were transferred in a midnight reshuffle by the Mayawati Government, officials said here on Tuesday.

Principal Secretary Revenue, Kunwar Fateh Bahadur Singh, was made the Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister while Gajendra Pal, Commissioner Devipatan Division, was appointed as Labour Commissioner, they said. Anant Kumar Singh, DG (Prisons), has been kept in waiting and Secretary to the Chief Minister N S Ravi was made Secretary Milk Development, Managing Director PCDF and Milk Commissioner. In addition, Hari Shankar Pandey, Special Secretary, Department of General Administration was appointed Joint Managing Director, UPSIDC, Kanpur, they said. Arun Kumar Misra, CDO Kaushambi is the new Regional Food Controller, Lucknow, they added.

Joint Secretary (Medical and Health) Ajay Shankar Pandey has been transferred as Kanpur Municipal Commissioner while Rakesh Kumar Ojha, Special Secretary Agriculture Production branch was appointed as Managing Director of PSF, Lucknow.

Besides, four PCS officers were also transferred.- PTI
