HYDERABAD: The Board of Intermediate Education has directed the private junior colleges including corporate colleges to make admissions strictly in accordance with the sanctioned sections. The excess students admitted by the managements over and above the sanctioned strength would not be permitted for the Intermediate public examination and the BIE would not be responsible for the consequences thereon, according to a release from the Board Secretary R.P.Sisodia.
Instructions
He directed the Regional Inspection Officers to be vigilant to prevent junior colleges from violating rules and advised the parents to learn about the sanctioned strength before admitting their children. The Board Secretary also said that the private unaided/corporate junior colleges should follow scrupulously the fee structure prescribed by the Government from time to time. For the academic year 2007-08, first year tuition fee for first year is Rs.993 and Rs.1,092 for second year. Action would be initiated against the managements if any private, unaided junior college was found collecting more than the prescribed tuition fee without further notice.
