Survey along backwaters progressing

KOCHI: The survey along the backwaters of Kochi was progressing at a good pace, Collector A.P.M. Mohammed Hanish said on Tuesday.

He said that the survey gained momentum from the beginning, as the administration was able to access the details of a backwater survey held in the past.

He said that the survey on the North-South area of the Chilavannur backwaters would be completed and notices issued to encroachers in the area within 10 days.

Meanwhile, the survey teams, including eight surveyors, continued the survey in the Chilavannur river area for the second day running.
