Congress MP comes down heavily on partymen

TDP is growing strong due to mistakes committed by the Congress, says Kotla Jayasuryaprakasa Reddy

KURNOOL: Kotla Jayasuryaprakasa Reddy, MP, on Wednesday lashed out at the Government saying Kurnool district was neglected in all aspects. Every Rayalaseema district was getting some project or other except Kurnool.

Talking to reporters, Mr. Reddy said Congress party had got weakened as MLAs, Ministers and the Chief Minister himself were trying to keep themselves aloof. The TDP was growing strong not out of its own strength but from the mistakes of the Congress.

`Congressmen divided'

He said TDP men were in an advantageous position in rural areas rather than the Congress cadres who were divided.He said when TDP district president Byreddy Rajasekhar Reddy undertook foot march along the KC Canal criticising the Congress, not a single MLA or Minister countered his criticism.

Mr. Reddy said the Congress MLAs should know the fact that money would not help win elections. Had it been so, Mr. Chandrababu Naidu, who was rich, would not have lost the election. Even now, the TDP was spending lavishly, he said. M. Sikhamani deliberately bringing caste division in Kodumur constituency. Faction politics was introduced for the first time at Laddagiri.He said he would wage a battle for improving the water supply under Tungabhdra Low Level Canal (LLC).
