Power shutdown in many areas

Bangalore: There will be no power supply from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Thursday in parts of the city because KPTCL authorities will take up works at the 66 kV tower between Sarakki and Jayadeva station.

The affected areas are BTM 1st and 2nd Stage, KEB Layout, J.P. Nagar 3rd and 2nd Phase, KEB Colony, Kuvempunagar, Madinanagar, Central Silk Board, Kaverappa Industrial Estate, KAS Colony, IAS Colony, Srinivasa Industrial Estate, Dorasanipalya, MICO Layout, Vysya Bank Colony, N.S. Palya, Bannerghatta Road, Old and New Gurappanapalya, Tavarekere, Jayanagar 1st to 4th Block, Byrasandra, parts of Hosur Road, Jayadeva Hospital, Hulimavu, Bilekahalli, Begur, K.C. Halli, Koramangala Industrial Layout, Jyoti Nivas College, Koramangala 1st to 5th Block, CPWD Quarters, Kendriya Sadan, Kudremukh Colony, parts of Audugodi, Vinayakanagar, Lakkasandra, parts of Wilson Garden and surrounding areas, according to Bescom release..
