EL DORADO: The Central Bureau of Investigation pressed in a court here on Thursday for the extradition of the Bofors case accused Ottavio Quattrocchi to India. Its lawyer Miguel Almeyra presented arguments before First Court Judge Harichi Doi. Thereafter, Mr. Quattrocchi's lawyer Alejandro Freeland presented his defence. The extradition trial began four months after the Italian businessman was detained in the Missiones province on February 6 while he was on his way to Brazil. A two-member CBI team, led by Director (Prosecution) S.K. Sharma, is here to assist the lawyers during the trial. PTI
