Pre-admission guidance programme today

Spot registrations will begin at the venue at 8 a.m.

Kochi: The pre-admission guidance programme being organised by The Hindu-Educationplus for students seeking admission to professional courses in colleges in Kerala will begin at A.J. Hall, Kaloor, at 9 a.m. on Friday.

Spot registrations will begin at the venue at 8 a.m. to enable those who have not registered for the programme. However, this facility is being extended on a `first-come-first-served' basis. Those who have registered by email may also arrive by 8.30 a.m. at the venue and complete the formalities.

Eminent persons and experts who will address the gathering include Joint Commissioner for Entrance Examinations S.N. Kumar, Kerala Private Medical College Management Association secretary George Paul and Kerala Self-financing Engineering College Managements Association president G.P.C. Nayar.

Careers-and-courses expert B.S. Warrier will present an overview. Special talks on engineering-related information technology career prospects by Venkatesan Seshadri, vice-president (Talent Acquisition) and T.P. Vincent (Kochi Centre head), Cognizant Technology Solutions, will be part of the programme.

The event will conclude with an interactive session, where the students will be able to ask questions to the experts present.

A handbook providing a detailed overview of the main courses will be provided free of cost to each participant.

The event is being organised in association with State Bank of Travancore (SBT) and co-sponsored by Triumphant Institute of Management Education (T.I.M.E).
