Sullivan's birth anniversary

Udhagamandalam: Starting 2007, the birth anniversary of the Founder of Ooty, John Sullivan, would be celebrated every year in a fitting manner by the Save Nilgiris Campaign (SNC).

In a communication, the Coordinator, S.N.C. Dharmalingam Venugopal said that the anniversary, falling on June 15, would be celebrated at the Sullivan Memorial at Kannerimukku near Kotagiri. There would be a discussion on horticulture, a photo exhibition and presentation on community development.
