VIJAYAWADA: The State unit of the Jana Swasthya Abhiyaan (JSA), a voluntary organisation, will organise a two-day `Andhra Pradesh Health convention' here at Hanumantharaya Granthalayam in Gandhi Nagar from June 16. Addressing a press conference on Saturday, JSA State co-convener Geyanand said globalisation had widened the gap between rich and poor in all sectors, including health. Catholic Health Association of India convener Sebastian would inaugurate the convention, while JSA national convener Iqbal would deliver inaugural lecture. Jana Vignana Vedika (JVV) Krishna district president Velaga Srinivas, honorary president Joni Kumari and JVV state committee member P. Kameswara Rao were also present.
