Cane crushing to continue at Bhimasingi

VIZIANAGARAM: Minister for Housing Botcha Satyanarayana has announced that crushing at Bhimasingi Sugars will continue till the last sugarcane is crushed.

Allaying fears of sugarcane growers at Rythu Sadassu on Saturday, Mr. Satyanarayana said that the factory had till date crushed 2.15 lakh tonnes against its capacity of 1.70 lakh tonnes.

Some 6,000-10,000 tonnes left over would be crushed, he added.
