Pandey and Einstein score centuries

Bangalore: Manish Pandey (106) and Einstein (105 n.o.) scored centuries for ZCA South as its game with ZCA Central, in a Col. Hemu Adhikari Trophy NCA inter-zonal tournament match, was drawn at the IAF Ground here on Saturday.

ZCA South declared its second innings at 259 for six and set a target of 306. However, ZCA Central settled for a draw scoring 185 for four in its second innings with Ankit Tiwari scoring an unbeaten 101.

The other match between ZCA East and All India University (AIU) also concluded in a draw at the RSI Ground. Meanwhile, ZCA West and ZCA North qualified for the final commencing here on Monday.

The scores: ZCA South 360 in 121 overs and 259 for six decl. in 75.5 overs (Manish Pandey 106, Einstein 105 n.o.) drew with ZCA Central 313 in 101.1 overs and 185 for four in 44 overs (Ankit Tiwari 101 n.o., Rohan Srivatsava 49).

ZCA East 191 in 73.3 overs and 173 for eight decl. in 54 overs drew with AIU 304 for eight in 70 overs (Thalaivan 74, Siddharth 66, Sangram Bagul 54). — Principal Correspondent
