KANNUR: A youth was fatally run over by a lorry after the two-wheeler he was riding was hit by a Kerala State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) bus at Mundayad here on Saturday. The deceased was identified as A. Rijosh Babu (29), a painting worker. He was riding on the motorcycle with his friend Jithu at 11.30 a.m. when the accident happened. They were thrown off the two-wheeler after being hit by the bus. The lorry coming from the opposite direction ran over Rijosh Babu. He died on the spot. Jitho has been admitted to a hospital with injuries.
