Appeal to party workers

Special Correspondent

CHENNAI: All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam general secretary Jayalalithaa on Saturday appealed to party workers not to get concerned at the "falsehood" being spread on the Kodanad estate issue.

In a statement here, she said Chief Minister M. Karunanidhi was raising several questions on the estate. He was not empowered to do so and she need not reply to the queries. She would give an answer when those who had the powers questioned her.

Ms. Jayalalithaa said she had not violated any law when she filed her nomination in the Andipatti constituency for last year's Assembly elections.
