State agrees to correct `loopholes' in GO 399

Special Correspondent

HYDERABAD: The Government has agreed to correct the `loopholes' in GO 399 issued to enforce GO 610, particularly withdrawal of wordings `20 per cent non-local quota'.

This was indicated by Chief Secretary J. Harinarayan on Saturday during discussions on the GO with representatives of employees' and teachers' organisations here.

Protest with flowers

The Telangana Rashtra Samiti (TRS) has proposed a unique form of agitation by sporting flowers on their ears on Tuesday to symbolise that the State Government was trying to fool people with GO 399 as a tool to repatriate non-local employees from Telangana.
