Madikeri: Efforts will be made to secure the minimum support price for the vanilla crop, whose price has fallen sharply over the years, new joint secretary of the Vanilla Growers Association of India P.G. Pemmaiah has said. He said that due to cyclone, a large amount of vanilla crop was destroyed in Madagascar. It could propel the demand for the product, pushing up price in India.
