Subbu joins DMK

CHENNAI: Trade union leader and former legislator K. Subbu on Saturday joined the Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) in the presence of party president and Chief Minister M. Karunanidhi.

Mr. Subbu, who was adviser of the legislature wing of the All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam, was expelled from that party on May 9, on the charge of acting in contravention of its policies. DMK organising secretary T.K.S. Elangovan and Union Minister for Information Technology and Communications A. Raja were present.
