Coimbatore: Collector Neeraj Mittal on Saturday said all arrangements were in place for the conduct of examination for the recruitment of Village Administrative Officers here on Sunday. Mr. Mittal told reporters that 30,551 candidates would be appearing for the examination in 61 centres across the district. The candidates were requested to turn up at least half-an-hour before the examination. The examination would commence at 10 a.m. and the candidates would not be allowed to leave the centres before 1 p.m. Candidates who did not get their hall tickets, but having sufficient proof that they had given their application forms and those with identity proof attested by a gazetted officer would be allowed to take the examination.
