Chevrolet Spark rolls into city

HYDERABAD: General Motors India on Saturday launched Chevrolet Spark, the company's mini-car, in Hyderabad market. The Spark was the world's newest-generation compact city car, said Director (Operations) Sanjeev Garg, at a press conference here.

The company also brought out Chevrolet Optra Magnum TCDi two-litre diesel version, which was simultaneously launched in Delhi and Bangalore on Saturday.

The Optra Magnum has three variants. The ex-showroom price in Hyderabad of Optra 2.0 MAX is Rs. 8.74 lakhs, Optra 2.0 LS is Rs. 8.99 lakh and Optra 2.0 LT is Rs. 9.99 lakh.

Variants

The Spark has four variants. The Spark 1.0 E costs Rs. 3,09,851, Spark 1.0 costs Rs. 3,32,542, Spark 1.0 LS costs Rs. 3.59,865 and Spark 1.0 LT costs Rs. 3,89,853 (all prices ex-showroom Hyderabad).

The LT version has the option of alloy wheels and anti-lockk braking system (ABS) on an additional payment of Rs. 35,080.
