Leeds varsity honours Praful Patel

NEW DELHI: The Leeds Metropolitan University of the United Kingdom has conferred on Civil Aviation Minister Praful Patel honorary doctorate in business administration for bringing about changes and modernising the Indian civil aviation sector.

Mr. Patel said: ``It is with great humility that I accept this award being conferred upon me, both as an individual and on behalf of the people of India. I consider it not only as an award but as a recognition of the great partnership which we have with the U.K.''
